Subject: Case IH combine pulsing powering steering?

Holly Hill, SC
On my Case IH 6150, for the past 2 weeks my steering has gone from smooth and easy to pulsing or pushing back at me when I turn. It happens maybe 10% of the time. Cold oil or hot oil, full throttle/low throttle, doesn't matter. I have noticed that if I extend my auger out while turning the problem goes away. I tried riding the brakes and that didn't help. Also if I raise my header the problem goes away but since the feeder cylinder is a single action, steering problem happens as I turn into the next row while lowering the header. Auto steer appears to be unaffected.

Priority Valve? Can I rebuild it versus replace? Some sort of load sense valve built in? Are these located on left side inside of main wheel? Thanks.
