I enjoyed your harvest video Rusty. Good job. From the air it looks like beautiful countryside. I think I have been through your country 3 times on my way to fish camp. We drove up the Manitoba/ Saskatchewan border to Flin Flan and then to Pelican Narrows. From there we flew by float plane to our cabin on Lake Oskikibuk. (Not sure of the spelling). I was amazed at how far north crops were growing! We had a great time all 3 times.
What types of wildlife are there in your area? Wow, a man who has fished my areas! I’ve been all over that neck of the woods, furthest north was 20 miles north of Points North Landing. Been there 3 different times. Drove all 3. 32 hours from threshold to threshold, 7 hours north of the last town, 320 mikes of it gravel road. But my oh my, is the fishing ever worth it. Drive right by famous Wollaston lake on the gravel road. The southern third is amazing ag country, enormous fields of wheat and canola for as far as the eye can see. |
