I was going to mention that it could be a worn out rotor belt but I thought I read that you broke one recently so figured you had a new one on there, maybe that was a different belt. Anyway, my 2388 would plug easily in beans without any warning. Then, my rotor belt broke this year and after replacing it, it was so much less prone to plugging. Never did plug it after the new belt. I measured the old and the new and it was full 1/8" difference. My old one was 2 1/4" wide. I really do think that made a big difference. Just like on snowmobiles, an old won belt won't perform well.
