I have checked and cleaned battery cables. Made sure it was bare metal at the ground cable to fra.e connections.
Our 06 Freightliner had starting problems. We cleaned and checked everything repeatedly and never could see anything wrong, cables looked great. About at our wits end, we cut a cable open and inside the copper was just corroded away to nothing. It looked perfect on the outside, but honestly I don’t know how the truck worked at all.
