Coles County, Illinois | You want to do all you can to help the air conditioner do it's work. I insulated the under seat removable pad with insulation like what some cars use on their hoods. Another thing is to use Great stuff foam insulation around the engine prop shaft (?) to cab gap. They came from the factory with some canvas like stuff but I'm sure yours is gone. Cutting off that gap forces hot air from the fan to exit the hood vents instead of being blown under the cab. Having the air exit the hood vents also helps keep fines off the exhaust manifold.
P.S. absolutely do not allow valve cover gasket leaks. | |
