Our experience is that the sidewalls will crack out before 50% tread. A tractor and Claas chopper both getting 50-70% tires replaced before corn silage. 710/70R38 & 600/65R28
The Michelins made it a little farther before catastrophic cracking.
Putting Goodyear Optitrack on. Dealer says they have the best warranty support.
Trelleborg tires?
