NE WI
I get my bolts at fleet farm when they have a spring sale.

Most grocery stores use eggs as a loss leader to get people in the store. Same with milk. Everything else just goes up.

There needs to be a correction in commodities. Can’t have $3-4 corn and $7-8 for a box of corn flakes. I have paid for land, equipment, and no operating loan and can’t hardly make it go where I’m at. I farm on the Niagara escarpment so county averages are 150bu corn and 30 bu beans yet I’m paying the same price for seed, chem, and fert as the guys that farm land that can make 250 bu corn and 80 bu beans.

I will make more money on oats than anything else this year due to lower inputs.
