NW Ohio,near Findlay | I have two of these tractors, one gas and the other diesel, which you apparently have. Would help to know the year of the tractor, and again, there must be different types injection pumps during production. To ccjeresy, I have never seen a injection pump with a separate oil supply, never heard of it, not that is doesn't exist. Interesting why they would do that.
I have no idea what happened and how the glass bowl breaking and draining the fuel caused it not to start. All I know is the Ford tractors I have been around, mostly the industrial types are a bear to bleed out if you run them out of fuel, will also include some of the Massey Ferguson tractors, which share some of the same type injection pumps, darn British designed tractors.
Questions, why did you have to change the fuel lines? Weren't they steel lines before? Are you sure you have them reconnected the same? Fords have weird filter arrangements, one filter goes to the other, one goes back to tank, hard to bleed out. There is a bleed screw on injection pump, again, all depends on model.
Start at filters, last filter to pump, crack line, hand pump, get air out. Loosen one or two injection lines at pump, crank motor over, should get air out to pump head. Then go directly to injector, pick the easiest one to loosen, crank motor over, darn thing should start. Little ether can help, but make sure you have glow plugs disconnected.
Let us know, seems strange to me why you are having all this trouble. I have a book on that tractor, sure it has the bleeding fuel process.
