Have just used scv hook up for quit awhile, no problems but have always used the lever in the float or hold into ahead position so that there is no pressure stop, just flows to a calm stop. Make sure the pump is set for a closed center hydraulic system. The idea of dumping into an open port on the return hose is a good one, and deserves good thought to put fitting either on the box, the filter or hole right above the pto guard on back of the tractor.
Not good advise. Could get real expensive if it’s a power shift |
