Subject: Old Forney FT 230 welder

Oklahoma
Was asked to help clean out an old barn of a family member. Old Forney FT 230 welder in the corner came home with me. I know it hasn’t been used in at least 23 years. Always heard these were good welders. The leads are cracked, there is rust from mice in spots, and the ports are full of mud dauber nests. Is this worth fixing and hanging onto or scrap it?

I don’t really have room for another welder. Have burned up one Lincoln 225 that got scrapped. It was worn out when I bought it from the school. Bought another used Lincoln 225 that was ok and I still have. When I started building fence, I bought a Miller bobcat. Have t used the Lincoln in several years.

Thanks
