wahlfarms - 7/13/2026 16:25 Oh Joey. Like a broken record…you do realize 75-80 nights and no wind are bad news for pollination? Not a total crop failure, but prolonged days of 90-98 and Hot nights are not good for things.
I am in no way what's so ever taking Joey's side on this but these temps this week are not going to cause any issues. There is ample moisture down there. I do feel we have a massive crop coming. The good areas are really good and the so called bad areas are still good.


Joe is an asshat.   That said, pollination issues with 21st century hybrids are minimal.   Daytime highs and overnight lows are much more significant to grain fill that isn't happening yet, at least in the I-states or northern corn belt.
