Malta, Illinois | I'm sure it won't be long. I am certainly not defending Joe's position but this afternoon's maps do not support a long term heat dome. It looks like four or five days of mid to upper 90's for a lot of the corn belt and then the dome pushes back west towards the rockies. 6 to 10 and 8 to 14 day temps are normal for a large portion of the corn belt. This is weather however and forecasts are usually not good for much. | |
