No because having the thought isn't the sin. Doing the action is the sin. Unless Joe Biden had an abortion he didn't sin. Secondly, lay people can't be in schism with the church unless The reject of the pope is actually the Pope.

Joe Biden being the president of United States doesn't have anything to do with his being a lay person.


The Bible is clear that sin begins with thought.

Sins of thought.

Sins of word.

Sins of deed.
