That violated the Constitutions of the synod. The synod council can then terminate the congregations membership.
Now when it comes to marriage annulments that's only in the Church. Their legal marriage would not be changed. As for them Returning that's Christianity as a whole it's about forgiveness. The same as if the individual members of the clc or llc want to become elca again. Nobody would raise a fuss over that would they? | |
