northeastern Ohio | During Black Friday 2025, I bought 2 at Walmart. One was a Roku and the other was a Vizeo. Less than $200 each.
I wanted to use them in my milking parlor to see cow data cast from a computer. The Vizeo worked fine for doing this. However, the Roku does not allow casting.
Shortly after, my Panasonic tv at home died. I replaced it with the Roku and it works great. I can watch local tv with an antenna or I can watch Prime with the click of a button. Also has tons of free channels over wifi internet. Thousands of free shows to watch, movies, ect.
Figured out that if I want to watch something on the computer (CBS shows that I missed, Youtube, ect), I can direct connect a laptop to the Roku and not have to pay for any subscriptions.
