north east IN

Rural King is the best place to buy them $16. You want the duke traps. Cut  an 3/4 inch long hose and slid over the trigger so the coon doesn’t feel the metal of the trigger. Drop a couple pieces of dog or cat food in the bottom and put some on the ground in front of the trap. Take a  1/8 inch cable and make a loop big enough the trap will go through so you can lasso a tree or post or you will loose your trap if not  anchored very good. I put a bolt through a post and just turned the nut all the way on and didn’t tighten it with a wrench or lock nut. Next morning the nut was off and the trap was gone. Felt bad for that coon
