Greene County Il. | When I bought a new pair last June, none of my local stores had any 2233 boots. The new one is a 2533,the same as a 2233, but with a slightly different sole. I found a pair of 22's in my size online at a RW store in a suburb of San Francisco. $15 to ship,worked out well. The lady at the store I ordered from said the factory where they made the soles for the 22's, had a problem, and I cant remember what it was for sure. I think she said the rest of the boot was assembled in Ohio, or somewhere, and they moved sole casting to there. I could be wrong. On the website as of now, there is still a 2233 listed, as well as the new style sole 2533 model. I have been wearing this model for years also, probably since jr. high. I remember when they came out with this new style sole replacing the layered style. It has been a good sole. | |
