E.Central MN | Mobile homes are built to a different standard than stick built homes. I looked at new ones that neighbors had purchased a few years ago, I'm not sure that they're built much better than the ones 50 years ago. Still had crappy/low grade windows/ cheap carpet, and mobile home grade furnace/appliances/etc. Not that much different than your average RV in terms of long term depreciation in stark contrast to a decent stick built home which increases in value over time. | |
