Southeast Minnesota
It would be good.
We put many acres through our NH version of a 2212-22 with calmer choppers. We bought it wore out and rebuilt that one and put the calmer rolls on because we had used them on the previous 8 row head. They do an awesome job and will make the 2208 a good chopping head.
We now have a 4412-22 that we bought busted up and rebuilt
I would be fine with the Calmer rolls vs. the mower blades.
