Evaporater probe/switch, have replaced them on are green ones over the years.
That sounds like the only plausible answer. If it freezes up, it's not coming on again immediately when you turn the temp down, it would take many minutes with A/C off. If you can get to the wiring, shouldn't be that hard to check which switch it turning it off, if you're operating it and can do two things at once. |
