Aren't those the balers AGCO moved production to China?

1840's did start being manufactured in China a few years back, in a facility AGCO owns. You can tell a China baler by both the serial number tag, and by looking at the knotter. The China balers have the Rasspe knotters, while the Hesston built balers had the same knotter it's always had.

I have seen ZERO concerns with 1840's coming from China...in fact, I'f I'm going to be 100% honest, a Hesston built 1840 1 out of 10-15 or so we would have a plunger that wasn't shimmed right, and we'd have to re-shim it during PDI...have never seen that on a China 1840 so far. I want to say 2021-2022 was when we started splitting production to China, and I believe now all small baler production is in China so the Hesston facility can be used for other products.
