We dry all our corn in a bin dryer with heat, I don’t know what your weather is like there in Minnesota but I sure would be nervous not having heat here in ne Ohio.

Due lack of communication last fall we had about 2k bu of 28% corn dumped in the bin we had to dry, that was a pain because the corn would not flow away from the stirators, thus the stirators would not trip the move switch so I ended lying to it to make them move occasionally.

Long story short I bought 3 new stirator augers but we did save the corn.
I wasn’t sure we would and a couple times I almost pulled it out and hauled it to the mill and took my beating on drying charges/shrink.

We routinely dump 20% in and run heat and 3 to 4 days it’s 15% transfer in to the big bin and start over.

For what we harvest it does work good for us.
