North Central Illinois | If you are air drying in a bin with a stirator, turn it on for a few minutes every day to keep it from getting excess weight in it from the grain shrinking. Usually starts fine when doing that. Make sure to leave it parked by the wall so the load is on the track and not the center chains.
Most efficient is to stir the grain thoroughly when halfway to dry and again at the end. So, if you half fill the bin and dry that run the stirator while filling the rest of the way with wet corn. | |
