Vfd and then you can turn it down but when something goes wrong and you need more air you have it. Remember that the cfm is for clean grain, back pressure goes up fast when you get cracked, dirty, contaminated grain. One load of weedy, wet, damaged and then you don't have enough fan.
Is there such thing as too big of bin fan?
