If you have heavy black soil I would think 200 pounds of actual N would be max? If the ground is flat that is. If it’s hill country I imagine it’s going to get washed away.

Main thing I would consider would be soils CEC. If it’s sandy ground you’re gonna waste nitrogen/money.

If you come back to the field a day later and there’s a white fog over the corn and it glows in the dark then it’s TOO MUCH. lol
