Was thinking of purchasing a Milwaukee 18 volt 5 gallon backpack sprayer for around yard, some fencelines and trouble patches in a couple fields, etc. Does anyone own one or have any experience with one as far as the likeability of it? Also, what rate you run of say 2-4D or Glyphosate in a 5 gallon rig like it?
Thanks!

Not Milwaukee but we have a Field King 4 gallon sprayer i've been using for a few years and am happy with it. Yes it takes its own battery and charger, but last year i essentially went the whole summer and only had to re-charge the battery once in 40+ gallons. I'm 32 and I don't think i'd want a 5 gallon sprayer, or at least wouldn't fill it all the way.

For chemicals i ,usually stick to the normal rate i would spray with so around 3oz/gallon for gly and 2oz/gallon for 2,4-D. If i'm spraying Liberty i'll add in some AMS or use liquid AMS, and this year i decided to throw in a few oz/gal of Dual to give me some residual control which so far seems to be working well. Honestly though i could probably cut my rates by 1/3 and be just fine as well, with the electric backpack sprayer or my 40gal UTV sprayer its waaayy too easy to get a little heavy handed when spraying. Kind've like how when i got my first electric grease gun i thought i had a problem of somebody taking grease out of the shop, took me a while to realize i was the person taking all the grease. LOL
