Rosen's products(array, enliven, ect...) are all formulated with Guar also known as a poly-acrylamide. While products with this base composition give the appearance of doing a good job they do not. Guar, while it absolutely reduces driftable fines, it makes all your droplets courser. This creates a reduction in coverage. Oil based deposition products don't do this. Additionally, poly-acrylamide based adjuvants, guar included, increase the amount of air entrapment in the droplet. This makes the droplet significantly larger, which reduces drift, but upon impact the droplets have a tendency to shatter rather than stick to the plant. All in all, Array is really not the best choice agronomically for a liberty application where coverage is highly important. You really want an oil based deposition aid because it will vastly improve the uniformity of your droplet size without compromising coverage.
As a side note, I used to work for Rosen's and I sold many tons of array and thousands of gallons of enliven, both products have their merits, but there is far superior technology available today. Guar was invented over 30 years ago.
