If I was a betting man, it chalk it up to group 15 cupping. Group 15 herbicides will “drawstring” soybean leaves also. Often times, when they grow out of it, they’ll have heart shaped leaves.

How do I know? Because I see it every year on ours. I have 2 soybean fields side by side. I sprayed one and the other was too wet last week. Came back to spray the wetter one yesterday. It looked pretty good and the one I sprayed was cupped from edge to edge.

Won’t effect yield, beans like early stress. Unless that early stress is severe hail or saturated soils, they don’t like that too much.
