We use a JD no till air seeder. Any no till drill will do…drill in late August into fallow wheat stubble. Mix with 1/4 to 1/2 bushel of wheat and orchard grass. Set total lbs to be put on based on total of all products to be seeded…density will need to be checked to know what chart to use.
We have had excellent luck doing it this way for several years!
