Trump doesn't worry about debt because he thinks he can grow the economy fast enough that the growth in income will produce enough tax revenue to eliminate the federal deficit. His plan was derailed by covid in his first term and it appears he has derailed his own financial plan this time by invading Iran.
He has the pieces in place to grow the economy and lift the lower and middle classes again, but his desire to make peace in the middle east may be too devastating to our economy. Time will tell.
As far as blaming the republican party in congress, both parties are inept and have corrupt leadership and need to simply be gone. No more R, no more D.
