| I have heard an explanation that the percentage of foreign owned us farmland sits highly by canada as the highest and i don't remember the exact place but china was down the list quite a bit. It was explained that if the usa was to repatriate the foreign owned lands that it might cause a substantial decline in property values that could then cause a crunch on farmers collateral to assets ratio that would cause a crisis in farming. And that the chinese exposure wasn't worth the risk at this time. | |
