Hooker Twp,Ne
Had a scare with sepsis once. Few years ago was combining beans and felt feverish. Went home that evening and slept well. Next morning checked my blood pressure and it was low. Went and filled combine full of fuel and greased it. Son came over and I brought him to get semi. Told him my blood pressure a bit low. Told me to go to local doc and get it checked that maybe my home one wasn’t working right. Docs office sent me to local hospital. Local hospital transferred me to Lincoln,ne hospital. They put me on bunch of IV and next morning Doc came in and told me that I was lucking I showed up yesterday or else I wouldn’t have been alive today. I had sepsis. Talk about putting fear in a guy. Of course they found couple other things not quit right so I had a weeks stay in with some pretty nurses. So sepsis is nothing to mess with.
