I disagree.  The Fed made hard decisions and we can disagree with some of them but many of the issues purportedly caused by the Fed are results or action or inaction by Congress (budget, laws) and the Executive Branch (regulations or the relaxation or enforcement thereof).  These groups have a lot of ability to tilt a playing field and the Fed is largely in a position to attempt to stabilize downstream effects.  The Fed is just a convenient whipping boy and political football since they generally aren’t in a position to make up their own facts or spin their position.
