It is a system setup to benefit the people who created it. And they sure as heck aren't going to explain to the public how and why inflation works against 90% of the people in the country. They'll just let the public continue to be useful idiots.
And this is not a R vs D issue. Its a "haves" vs "have not" issue. The R's and D's just take turns padding their and their friends pockets at the expense of 90% of society.
