The Fed isn't perfect, but many people have been gaslighted by their political party into placing too much blame on the Fed and too little on the politicians. Both parties run reckless deficits, and both have thrown the Fed under the bus more than the Fed actually deserves. That being said, the Fed does deserve heat at times.
The Fed is the equivalent of a drug dealer enabling their addict to keep going on a path of destruction.
