Odd pocket,Illinois | Most of the corn looks very good here, a few fields haven't quite hit the nitrogen yet that was side dressed a little later. Corn planted in the March 22-29 timeframe is over knee high. Still a few beans to plant yet but what is planted is up with good/excellent stands except what was planted last weekend before our thunderstorm rolled in Monday afternoon and dumped 2.5 inches in no time. Those will most likely be a replant. | |
