So what is actually causing inflation to ramp back up? The big beautiful bill that wasted a ton of money and is paid for by more printing? I agree with them that balance sheet expansion or “debt” is the cause of inflation. Current higher prices for fuel and other things shouldn’t cause inflation if people don’t have more money to spend. The descetionary spending gets cut, savings is used up but if there isn’t more money to spend inflation doesn’t increase.
The cost of energy going up around the world is creating inflation.
Back after covid the high energy cost I think was also part of the inflation. |
