NC Iowa | A little story about the first time I met Sue Martin in person. At a Lathum Seed meeting in the early 2000's she was the guest speaker. She started off her speech with I know I should be wearing $8 bean's shirt. She had been preaching that beans were going to $8 for years(and never correct). She then put on an hour long talk about why beans had no up side for the rest of the year. Three months later we had $8. That was a great lesson for me to make sure I put little stock in an experts opinion on the grain markets, no matter how short the skirt got. LOL | |
