Ohio | The payments are made on the yield data from NASS. If not enough data points are available they use RMA data for the county yield portion. The market year average price is the other component and that is updated with the WASDE report.
The estimates that are out now use the NASS yield data and the most recent market year average price from the May WASDE report. There is potential that the final price used will be different, but given that we are 2/3rds of the way through the marketing year and it is a weighted average they should be able to get pretty close with their estimate.
FSA will not have a final number until the market year ends in August. | |
