 Southeast Colorado | Electricity use peaks right at sundown...........when folks get off work. And the wind dies down.........let alone the sun. So base load generation that idled back during the day charges extra money for that time it's needed to cover the green energies weakness. It's just the facts of life. No base load generation company is going to build up to handle the shortfall and then idle back when they're not needed...........or at least not figure out a way to make money being forced into those parameters. | |
