Subject: Brazil production for China

95 miles NW of Quitaque, TX
If Brazil plants more corn does that mean that Brazil will plant the same or less acres of soybeans? If Brazil plants less soybeans where will China get soybeans.

Copied from below:
I saw this article a few days ago. I think Brazil will help the US farmers by planting more corn for ethanol. This has to slow down or stop increases in soybean production. I also saw a video from around the China trip that Xi wants to become more self sufficient in grain production. That goes along that I saw a video that China has not been telling the truth on their population. That person thought the number was under a 1B people. So maybe China does not need as much grain production because there are not as many people to feed. Who knows.
