NW Missouri | I use AgLeader for ag guidance. I do sometimes lose accuracy around the edge of fields with tall trees. It's not a loss of RTK correction, but a loss of satellites (so it would happen with WAAS too, not just rtk). Usually the accuracy comes back within a couple minutes, but sometimes it requires a system reboot.
FWIW, I have a Lymow rtk mower, and the only time it ever has a GPS issue is when it leaves the dock, which is under a covered deck. I don't have any mature trees in my yard though, so once it gets out from under the deck, it's always open to the sky. | |
