My 2024 F150 had a dead battery this morning. It was bought new in July of 2024. I was gone for 3 days and come back to a dead battery. My last new pickup battery lasted 12 years. What's up with the new stuff? We try to remember to disable the auto shutoff at stop whenever we drive. We just finished a 1500 mile trip from AZ to Iowa 2 weeks ago. We tend to drive it every other day in AZ but here in Iowa, it may sit in the garage for a week at a time. Going in to see what the dealer will do for me..
Computers not shutting off. The GM dealer here recommends a trickle charger and keeping the key far away if you don't plan on driving it for a week or so. |
