KY | PaKettle - 5/12/2026 07:35 We kinda need the P.O. to continue. In the early 70s I had a 120 lb item shipped Railway Express from Florida to our local depot in Michigan. Took 6 weeks to arrive. Depot was open once a week for pickup Saturday mornings 8-12. That was the end of the Railway Express.
Amazon can take over mail delivery and do it better, cheaper. There was a time when I thought UPS might be the one to go that route, but now I bet in 5 to 10 years UPS will stop residential delivery altogether. |
