West Central MN | The mid-mount TA22 transmission used in Challenger MT900, Versatile HHT large frame, MTS, Game Equipment, and other tractors share the internal rotating iron of the MT800 transmission but is packaged in a different external housing that also includes an extra shaft to split power to the front and rear axles. The control hardware and software is also different between brands to meet their individual brand needs, engines, etc.
The most technically evolved and polished TA22 would be the version used in the current MTS tractors.
