West Central MN | Fuzzy memory is starting to come back and we did make some changes to improve the 13 > 12 and 5 > 4 downshifts on C-Series. The biggest step changes on transmission improvements came on the MT700D and MT800Es.
Suggest doing a transmission calibration. If it completes, run it. If it doesn't, there's probably a worn clutch pack. Know that's asking a lot for a tractor one doesn't own.
Another thing to do would be to pull the transmission sump screens and look for clutch friction material. It will be very obvious if there is a clutch problem.
