Subject: Deere 7800 early PowerQuad issues (stuck in B1)

Tractor came in with all 4 "powershift" speeds working, pulled shift valve manifold off the bottom to fix a leak, reinstalled and now tractor has pressure to B1 whenever it is put in gear, No matter which of the 4 speeds the lever is put into, it will not change. System pressure will dip and return to spec with each shift, but speed will not increase from the 1st gear that it's in. Gasket is correct, this one never had "trigger valves", it has the "leaf spring" detents. Changed out the 4 speed spool due to some rub marks left by the shift fork, but installed the new one the same way as the old one, both are identical.

Have verified shift forks are engaging spools, no stuck valves, adjustment procedure for linkage has been performed, this issue exists even with linkage disconnected lying under the tractor and shifting by hand. Tried a completely different manifold with the same issue. Is it a coincidence that something happened in the main trans somewhere while this manifold was off for a day? Have 3 experienced Deere techs look at it and nobody can figure it out. See in the manual it claims B3-C4 shift valve is spring biased opposite of the other two shift valves, but all of these 3 shift valves had the spring on the same side when the manifold was removed, believe this instruction is for earlier setups where trigger valves and the cam stops were used.

Anyone knowledgeable on these style Powerquads have any knowledge of why B1 is the only speed clutch to receive pressure when putting tractor into any range? Thank you.
