NE North Dakota | Worked with a Salford yesterday. Few tacky spots yet. Plan to plant it this afternoon. First year with canola. Planted lots of corn and soys 2-2.5 chasing moisture. Just don’t like shallow 3/4 stuff. Will be done with a planter and plan for 1 inch
I don’t think we are drying out to crazy with cold temps. But issue with 1/2-3/4 inch planting is seed lay on top of moisture or is not firmly packed into moisture I feel | |
