Looks like you're getting your answer, lot of responses, no hard data. I also would like to see side by side testing done not by Precision or any manufacturer/supplier.
The operation I work for (100% no till) updated a 16 row JD to all downforce with electric meters and speed tubes. I don't know the exact cost but I know it was well into the six figures (now that also included new parallel arms). I run the combine for the operation and I know the yields have not gone up enough to justify six figures.
