Subject: Bio degradable film over crops

Has anyone used bio degradable film over sweet corn or watermelon ? Was looking at a product called Bio 360 made from corn starch . You roll it over your planted stuff, Makes it warmer in the spring and breaks down on its own. How much earlier on average would the sweet corn mature ? I was reading in the May June issue of Better Farming magazine. Dairy farmer near Edmonton Canada use this on his corn acres. Has for the last 6 years. He has 700 milk cows and 2500 crop acres Must work ? I just want to do an acre of sweet corn. My thing is would it make my sweet corn 1 week earlier 2 weeks ? Thanks
